The Company designs and manufactures fabricated steel and cast aluminum wheels for original equipment manufacturers in the global passenger car, light truck, and heavy duty truck markets. Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. has a proud history tracing back to the earliest days of the automobile industry. We were founded in 1908 when we manufactured wooden spoked wheels for the Ford Model T. Since then we have become a leading global supplier of wheels and other components for the passenger car and the light, medium and heavy duty truck markets.
